KANU Youth Congress Champions Civic Engagement at ‘Kandanda na Democracy’ Tournament
Members of the KANU Youth Congress actively participated in the Kandanda na Democracy Competition and Exhibition over the weekend, utilizing sports and creative arts as a platform to champion civic awareness, youth leadership, and democratic dialogue.
The event, organized by the Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD-Kenya), was held at the Public Service Club and brought together young political leaders, civil society actors, and sports enthusiasts. Headlined by a competitive youth leagues football tournament, the initiative was structured to harness the unifying power of sports to foster constructive policy engagements, promote peaceful political participation, and spur open dialogue among the youth.
