Pledge of Loyalty for Candidates Contesting Elections

wishing to seek the nomination of the Kenya African National Union as a candidate in the

forthcoming Elections for hereby make a solemn pledge that, if I am elected to the above seat,
and so long as 1 continue as a Member on the ticket of the Party I shall

(a) remain loyal to the KANU and its organs;

(b) give my full support to the Constitution and Manifestos of the Party and the unity of all

citizens of Kenya;
(c) give my full support to the policies of the KANU Government; and

(d) In all things adhere to the Constitution of the. Republic of Kenya.

AND I undertake to make this pledge without coercion
