(d) By accepting an office, subscribing to or promoting activities of a Political Party or
Organization whose aims and objectives are in competition with or in conflict with those
of KANU
(e) Upon death;
(f) Has failed to pay the subscriptions or any other dues after a letter of warning by the
National Executive Council
(g) By an operation of any prescribed law.
(h) A person who has terminated his membership shall not be entitled to a refund of
the fees or subscriptions made by him, to the Party prior to termination; and all rights,
privileges responsibilities or facilities granted to or enjoyed by him by virtue of his
membership shall automatically terminate with effect from the date mentioned in
paragraph (b) of this clause
(i) The Party shall have a right to lay any claims against any person who has terminated his
membership for any monies due and owing from him or for any damage or loss
occasioned to Party property, which was in his custody, possession or control prior to
termination of membership, PROVIDED that the provisions of this paragraph shall,
mutatis mutandis, apply to officers of the Party.
(j) Any person, other than a person who was a Gold Member prior to termination of his
membership, may if he so wishes to rejoin, the Party, apply for re-admission in the
normal manner provided for under this article.
(k) A person who was a Gold member prior to termination of his membership, may apply for
re-admission to Party membership if he so wishes. PROVIDED that such re-admission
shall be subject to the approval of the National Governing Council.
(l) A member who joins; forms; or join in the formation of another political party; or in any
way or manner publicly advocates for the formation of another political party; or
promotes the ideology interest or policies of another political party; shall cease to be a
member of the Party.
