PART III. MANAGEMENT OF THE PARTY.

(A) NATIONAL OFFICIALS AND OFFICERS OF THE PARTY

ARTICLE 6: NATIONAL OFFICIALS

6.1. The national office:

(a) The Party shall be managed by the following officials who shall be known as the
National Officials:

(i) National Chairperson;

(ii) First National Deputy-Chairperson;

(iii)Second National Deputy – Chairperson;

(iv) Secretary General;

(v) Deputy Secretary General;

(vi) National Treasurer;

(vii) Deputy National Treasurer;

(viii) National Organizing Secretary;

(ix) Deputy Organizing Secretary Programs & Training;

(x) Deputy Organizing Secretary Branch Operations.

(b) Nothing in this Clause shall prevent an Official or Officer of the Party from accepting a

Government appointment.

(c) A member is disqualified from being an official of the party if that member is

(i) is an un-discharged of bankrupt;

(ii) Has been convicted of criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for a

period not less than six months;

(iii)Has been suspended for a period of six ‘months for violating the code of conduct

of the party; or

(iv) Has contravened the provisions of Chapter 6 of the Republic of Kenya
Constitution.
