10.7.THE NATIONAL CHAIRPERSON OF PERSONS LEAVING WITH DISABILITIES
The National Chairperson of Persons Leaving with Disabilities Congress shall:
(a) Oversee the Party programmes and coordinate all activities relating to persons with
disabilities of the party in liaison with the National Executive Committee;
(b) Represent the interests and articulate issues concerning persons with disabilities of the
Party at the National Level;
(c) Submit the plan of activities and programmes through the office of the Secretary General
for approval by the National Management Committee;
(d) Submit periodical reports on the performance of their Congress to the office of the
Secretary General.
ARTICLE 10 A: SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS RELATING TO NATIONAL
OFFICIALS
(a) In addition to the several functions attached to their respective offices under this
Constitution, the National Officials, who for the purposes of this paragraph shall exclude
the National Chairperson and may, subject to any limitations or conditions imposed by
the National Executive Council, implement on behalf of the Council, duties enumerated
under Article 13(2) of this Constitution and all decisions taken by the Council in
pursuance thereof.
(b) In the performance of their duties or exercise of powers conferred upon them under this
Constitution, the Members of the National Officials shall be enjoined to work together as
a team and their decisions or actions on and matters relating to the Party affairs shall be
construed as being collective and they shall jointly and or severally when attending to
Party affairs strive to foster unity and harmony among themselves and in the Party as a
whole.
