case may be, where the Committee adopts the recommendations, it shall submit
the same to the National Executive Council or the National Chairperson for the
appointment of the senior officers of the party.
(b) Senior Officers shall work under the general direction and guidance of the Executive
Director and shall perform such functions and exercise such powers as may be assigned
to them by the National Management Committee in accordance with this constitution
and terms and conditions of appointments.
(c) Either of the Directors can/may deputize the National Executive Director in addition to
duties assigned to him/her as provided in this constitution.
(d) No person shall qualify to be appointed as a senior officer of the party unless he is a
Silver member.
(e) All officers of the party in office before the adoption of the new constitution shall hold
office until the first Grassroots and National Elections under the new Constitution and
shall be eligible to be appointed for any of the created positions to which they qualify,
provided that the duties, authority and powers of any officer shall he varied in
accordance with this Constitution.
(f) The National Management Committee shall fill the senior positions in the Secretariat
within fourteen days after the first National Elections held under the new Constitution.
(g) The existing National Management Committee shall create and fill other offices at the
Secretariat as need rises.
