Our Commitment to Sustainable Manufacturing
AGENDA 1 In the next five years, we will:

Enhance manufacturing sector by enforcing supportive elements like liberalization of power
supply and reducing the corporate tax rate for renewable energy adapters to ensure ease of
doing business in Kenya with responsible environmental stewardship.
Rebuild the economy from the grassroots in an economic plan through policy, legislation, and
technology that prioritizes green manufacturing opportunities in labor-intensive sectors such
as Agriculture, Livestock, Textiles, Mining, Entrepreneurship, and Fishing.
Encourage Public Private Partnerships with foreign investors to develop the manufacturing
sector by introducing new technologies and knowledge that focus on renewable resource
consumption and emissions.
In collaboration with County governments, set aside land to establish at least one Industrial
Park or Special Economic Zone in every county to spur economic development and create
employment opportunities locally.
Encourage value addition of raw materials and semi-processed goods intended for export by
restricting the export of such materials to retain the job opportunities while achieving the
highest value for the products.
